Whisky & Cedarwood

A unisex cologne from Jo Malone London, Whisky & Cedarwood was born in 2017 at the hand of Yann Vasnier, for The Bloomsbury Set, a limited collection. Brought back in 2018 in the collaboration with the tailor Huntsman, it returns in 2026 as a limited edition: pimento, an ambery whisky accord and cedar make it a warm, spicy woody scent.

Where to buy

Jo Malone London launched Whisky & Cedarwood in March 2017 within The Bloomsbury Set, a limited collection of five colognes inspired by the free spirit of the Bloomsbury group. Yann Vasnier composed them around Charleston, the group’s country house; Whisky & Cedarwood evokes its evenings. Blue Hyacinth, Garden Lilies, Leather & Artemisia and Tobacco & Mandarin complete the collection.

With the tailor Huntsman

In October 2018, Jo Malone London brought Whisky & Cedarwood back in its first men’s collection, created with Huntsman, the Savile Row tailor. The cologne sat alongside Amber & Patchouli, Birch & Black Pepper and Assam & Grapefruit, in 100 ml bottles.

A limited edition in 2026

In 2026, the house offers Whisky & Cedarwood again as a limited edition, in festive packaging, in a 100 ml bottle.

What is still missing

No campaign is credited for this cologne, and the ingredient list of the 2026 edition is published only by Sephora in the United States.

What critics say

In 2018, The Candy Perfume Boy found it a transparent woody scent with a gourmand signature, its whisky sweet and malty rather than smoky.
