Orange Bitters

Orange Bitters is a unisex Jo Malone London cologne, born as a limited edition for the 2016 holidays and back for Christmas since, in 2018 as in 2026. The house makes it a winter cocktail: sweet orange and fresh mandarin open the fragrance, bitter orange reveals prune, and a base of creamy sandalwood and amber carries it on.

Where to buy

Jo Malone London launched Orange Bitters in the fall of 2016 as a cologne and a limited edition for the holidays, with a matching candle. The house designed it to pair with Pomegranate Noir, which received a collector’s bottle the same season.

A holiday cologne

Orange Bitters returned for Christmas 2018 with its candle, in 100 ml and 30 ml bottles. In 2026, the house offers it again as a limited edition, the bottle tied with a tartan ribbon.

What is still missing

The perfumer behind Orange Bitters is not named by the house, and no campaign is credited for this cologne.

What critics say

In 2016, Navaz Batliwalla of Disney Roller Girl saw in it a sophisticated citrus, crisp and fresh rather than sweet, to pair with Pomegranate Noir.
