Whisky & Cedarwood

A unisex cologne from Jo Malone London, Whisky & Cedarwood was born in 2017 at the hand of Yann Vasnier, for The Bloomsbury Set, a limited collection. Brought back in 2018 in the collaboration with the tailor Huntsman, it returns in 2026 as a limited edition: pimento, an ambery whisky accord and cedar make it a warm, spicy woody scent.

In 2018, The Candy Perfume Boy found it a transparent woody scent with a gourmand signature, its whisky sweet and malty rather than smoky.

What critics say

For The Candy Perfume Boy (October 16, 2018), Whisky & Cedarwood was already one of the standouts of The Bloomsbury Set. Its whisky is sweet, malty and boozy rather than smoky or peaty, with the texture of clear caramel, and the cedar gives it a soft warmth. Transparent and light, as often with the house, it has a gourmand signature this time; he pictures it worn with a tweed jacket, for a walk in the countryside.
