Tutti Twilly d'Hermès

John Lewis classes Tutti Twilly among fruity florals, Sephora among floral compositions. Ginger blossom, lychee and musk are its three notes; Now Smell This adds ginger itself.

Ginger blossom

Grazia places ginger blossom in the top, with its acidity and spiciness. Christine Nagel finds it softer and more refined than the root, which already appears, according to Grazia, in several Twilly fragrances, including Eau Ginger.

Lychee

Lychee brings its sweetness and a rosy facet, writes Grazia, which places it at the heart. Christine Nagel wanted to create the house’s first truly fruity fragrance and immediately thought of lychee, whose juice she loves to see running over her fingers when one is opened, a generous gesture.

Musk

Musk, enveloping for the house as for the perfumer, gives the base warmth and sensuality according to Grazia. Christine Nagel says she chose an ethereal lychee and an enveloping musk to accompany the delicacy of the blossom.

What the label declares

The list opens with alcohol, fragrance and water, with benzyl salicylate, limonene and alpha-isomethyl ionone. Two UV filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, protect the juice, with an antioxidant, pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, disodium EDTA and tocopherol.

Also listed are linalool, methyl anthranilate, coumarin, citral, citronellol, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol, benzyl alcohol and eugenol. Cosma states an alcohol content of 79% vol.
