Héritage was created by a member of the Guerlain family, a fact rare enough to be noted. It displays a woody, fresh and spicy scent. In this case, it is composed of particularly noble ingredients. Moreover, it delights in playing on contrasts, as if to better enhance its raw materials. Its top notes are particularly striking in their freshness. Bergamot and lemon can notably be found there. Its heart, meanwhile, warms up with a good dose of spices such as pepper and coriander. Its base then enriches the whole with woody, virile tonalities. Cedar is subtly paired with patchouli as well as a leathery note. Nevertheless, Guerlain did not forget to incorporate into its recipe the famous Guerlinade, enhancing the whole with a touch of vanilla and tonka bean.
