Good Girl Blush Elixir

Launched in 2024, Good Girl Blush Elixir is the most intense version of Good Girl Blush from Carolina Herrera. Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner add a smoky patchouli to it: bergamot, mandarin and bitter almond at the top, rose and ylang-ylang at the heart, vanilla and patchouli at the base, in the line’s stiletto shaded from black to pink.

The house’s current page divides Good Girl Blush Elixir into three tiers: at the top, bergamot and bitter almond; at the heart, rose and ylang-ylang; at the base, vanilla and patchouli. Bitter almond, according to the house, gives a luminous opening.

At launch, in 2024, the top combined bergamot and mandarin, which Wikiparfum and Ambiance & Fragrance still list; mandarin therefore stays at the top. Ambiance & Fragrance adds peony and tonka bean, which are absent from Carolina Herrera’s declaration for the Elixir.

Patchouli, which the Givaudan perfumers say they chose as a heart component, appears at the base on the house’s olfactory chart. Wikiparfum specifies the origins: patchouli from Indonesia, vanilla and ylang-ylang from Madagascar.

The ingredient list published by Carolina Herrera mentions bergamot oil, patchouli oil, Cananga odorata, the ylang-ylang tree, as an oil or extract, rose flower in the same form, vanillin and benzaldehyde, a molecule that smells of bitter almond.
