Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl: the whole line, from 2016 to 2026
Launched in 2016 in a midnight-blue stiletto, Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl has grown into a line of seven perfumes, from Good Girl Suprême to Good Girl Jasmine Absolute, released for its tenth anniversary. The whole line, from the original eau de parfum to the elixirs.
A stiletto in 2016
Carolina Herrera launches Good Girl in 2016, an eau de parfum composed by Louise Turner under the beauty direction of Carolina Herrera Baez, the designer’s daughter. The house files it among the floral ambers: almond and coffee at the top, tuberose and jasmine at the center, tonka bean and cocoa at the base.
The bottle, a midnight-blue glass stiletto on a gold heel, becomes the mold for the whole line. Ten years on, it has been glittering black, red, pink and ombré, and every version keeps the starting idea: a woman can be good and bad at the same time.
Within months the launch becomes the house’s biggest commercial success. In early 2017 Puig, its owner, announces sales targets doubled in every market, and the American release, brought forward by a year, is presented as the house’s largest in the United States in twenty years.

Good Girl

The original: almond, coffee, bergamot and lemon at the top, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom and iris at the heart, tonka bean, cocoa, vanilla and praline at the base. Karlie Kloss has been its face since the launch, and the eau de parfum comes in sizes from 30 to 150 ml, the 100 ml being refillable.
Glitter and red lacquer, from 2020 to 2021
Four years after the original, the house opens the line to variations. Good Girl Suprême comes out in the summer of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, and Very Good Girl follows a year later, in a stiletto turned the red that Carolina Herrera claims as its own color.

Juicy berries and Egyptian jasmine at the top, tuberose and tonka bean at the heart, vetiver at the base, in a black stiletto covered with a glitter gradient. Quentin Jones directs the film, in which Karlie Kloss wears a little black dress. The perfume has left the house’s French website.

Very Good Girl

Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner open on redcurrant and lychee, set a rose at the center and close on vanilla and vetiver. The campaign dresses Karlie Kloss in a red balloon-sleeved gown designed by Wes Gordon, the house’s creative director.
The pink of Good Girl Blush, from 2023 to 2024
The Blush branch turns the stiletto pink and pulls the line toward fruity florals. Three perfumers sign the 2023 eau de parfum, and the elixir of the following year keeps its structure while adding a smoky patchouli.

Quentin Bisch, Shyamala Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud pair bergamot and bitter almond at the top, ylang-ylang and peony at the heart, vanilla and tonka bean at the base. The house files it among the fruity floral ambers, and Karlie Kloss wears it in a pink puff-sleeved dress with a 1980s feel.

Good Girl Blush Elixir

The most intense version of Good Girl Blush, by Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner: bergamot, mandarin and bitter almond, rose and ylang-ylang, vanilla and smoky patchouli. The stiletto shades from black to pink on a sparkling gold heel, and Karlie Kloss poses in an off-the-shoulder black dress.
The elixirs and the anniversary, from 2025 to 2026
Very Good Girl gets its elixir in the spring of 2025, in a stiletto that shades from red to black. A year later, for the line’s tenth anniversary, Good Girl Jasmine Absolute refocuses the original formula on jasmine, the flower the house claims as its signature.

Very Good Girl Elixir

The house describes a more intense version of Very Good Girl, carried by black cherry, bitter almond, rose and vanilla. Louise Turner and Shyamala Maisondieu sign it, and the red-to-black ombré bottle, on a sparkling gold heel, comes in 30, 50 and 80 ml.

Good Girl Jasmine Absolute

Mandarin and a blackcurrant accord at the top, jasmine and bitter almond at the heart, a caramel accord and toasted tonka bean at the base. The black stiletto wears a pearly white jasmine flower, and in September the house marked the anniversary with a three-day Good Girl Lab in SoHo, New York.
