Eros Najim, released by Versace in 2024, pairs caramel and mandarin in the top notes. Cardamom and oud make up the heart, followed by a base of earthy vetiver, camphoraceous patchouli and peppery incense.
Caramel, sweet and milky, and mandarin, sparkling and sun-kissed, occupy the top notes on opposite registers: warmth on one side, the tonic freshness of citrus on the other.
Cardamom, spicy and fresh, accompanies oud, woody and animalic, in the heart: two materials with nothing in common, other than their shared position in the composition.
Vetiver, earthy and smoky, patchouli, camphoraceous and damp, and incense, dusty and peppery, come together in the base; camphor links patchouli to incense, while vetiver holds its own register, woody and green.
