Eau Ressourçante

Eau Ressourçante, a particularly serene water. The house of Clarins was founded by Jacques Courtin in 1954. It was later developed by his sons Christian and Olivier. Over the years, Clarins has become a giant of cosmetology and perfumery.

The French skincare house Clarins has offered high-end products drawn from phytotherapy and aromatherapy since the 1960s. In order to benefit from the virtues of plants while enjoying a beautiful fragrance, Clarins launched a magnificent Eau Dynamisante in 1987. Given the success of this innovation, Clarins has since offered other beautiful and extraordinary bottles, such as the lovely and soothing Eau Ressourçante in 2003.

Eau Ressourçante by Clarins, or the benefits of aromatherapy in a fragrance

Created by Jacques Courtin-Clarins in 1954, the Clarins brand has always been committed to offering women high-quality skincare products that would showcase the great expertise of Jacques Courtin Clarins while allowing them to benefit from natural, ecologically developed ingredients. Clarins would thus be one of the very first cosmetics houses to bring nature into skincare. Naturally, when the house, greatly drawn to perfumery, would offer a fragrance, it would have to be just as natural and beneficial as Clarins's usual products.

In 1987, perfumer Jean-Pierre Béthouart would thus bring to life within Clarins a first fragrance: L’Eau Dynamisante. Thanks to its olfactory qualities as well as its phytotherapeutic properties, L’Eau Dynamisante was an immediate success. And many years later, L’Eau Dynamisante remains one of the cult products of our perfumeries.

Given such success, Clarins would go on to offer other fragrances, such as the beautiful and so seductive Eau Ressourçante, which would draw on the benefits of aromatic plants, powdery notes and lovely woods to carry one away into its whirlwind of beneficial nature.

L’Eau Ressourçante refreshes, relaxes, rests the body and mind, and leaves the skin delicately scented, soft and hydrated. Clarins for L’Eau Ressourçante.

A precious iris, basil and a pinch of sarsaparilla for a magical Eau Ressourçante by Clarins

As one will have understood, the main innovation of the house of Clarins lies in the fact that it managed to offer a genuine treatment paired with a genuine fragrance, not a light, delicately scented water. So for L’Eau Dynamisante as for L’Eau Ressourçante, the fragrant composition is established by a perfumer and constructed like any other great perfume. This is, moreover, the main reason for the great success of the Clarins Eaux.

L’Eau Ressourçante opens on a fresh, aromatic opening of Basil. At the heart, the lovely Iris flower brings its smooth, powdery sweetness to these airy flights. This lovely femininity later blends into far more sensual depths of Cedarwood and Siam Benzoin.

It should be noted that alongside these feminine, powdery delicacies, Clarins chose to add other ingredients that, for their part, have no olfactory properties: sarsaparilla, which brings its restorative benefits to L’Eau Ressourçante, but also highly hydrating longan and highly relaxing black locust flower.

A world of relaxation, well-being and calm, a new way of smelling good and feeling good through fragrance and the action of plants. Clarins for L’Eau Ressourçante.
