Dylan Purple - Eau de Parfum, launched by Versace in 2022, opens on orange, pear and freesia, between sugar and fruity freshness. The base brings together Iso E Super and cedar, both woody, alongside Ambrofix, warm and ambery.
Purple bottle with amphora curves, baroque lettering on the shoulder and aluminum cap with Medusa head, rose gold details.
Versace describes a bottle whose curves evoke an amphora, a reference to classical culture and mythology that the house claims. The brand name is inscribed in baroque-style lettering on the shoulder of the glass.
The aluminum cap is embossed with the Medusa head and engraved with the name of the perfume, the details finished in rose gold. Marketing copy reprinted by a retailer states that the glass and packaging are also colored purple.
The link with the line is explicit: Versace already described the bottle of Dylan Blue Pour Femme as an amphora evoking Greek mythology and adorned with Medusa emblems.
The eau de parfum comes in 30, 50 and 100 ml, with travel retail launch prices of 64.50 EUR, 89 EUR and 114 EUR. A derived line accompanies the launch: a 30 ml hair mist, scented shower gel and 200 ml scented body lotion. A travel spray format is also listed.
