Iris Debonair is a unisex eau de parfum by Creed, launched in 2026, which the house classes among the floral fougères. Bergamot, absinthe, pink pepper and cardamom open it; English lavender, violet leaf and a fig pulp accord form its central tier; iris pallida from Les Landes, ambrette and amber woods make up its base.
Creed classes Iris Debonair among the floral fougères and divides the composition into three tiers: bergamot, absinthe, pink pepper and cardamom at the top; English lavender, violet leaf and a fig pulp accord in the central tier; iris pallida, ambrette and amber woods at the base.
Bergamot and absinthe
The opening rests on a bergamot the house describes as co-infused with absinthe leaves, a luminous stroke it wants deliberately charming. Pink pepper and cardamom round out the top with their spicy notes.
Lavender and violet
In the central tier, the English lavender unfolds, according to Creed, with a cool, aromatic clarity. Violet leaf and a fig pulp accord surround it, between the green note of the leaf and the sweetness of the fruit.
Iris at the base
At the base, the iris pallida, which the house describes as suffused with pale blue and magnetic, and ranks among the most precious materials in perfumery, rests on ambrette and amber woods.
What the label declares
Alcohol, fragrance, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a synthetic wood, and water open the list. Virginia cedarwood oil, bergamot peel oil, linalyl acetate, limonene and linalool come right behind, ahead of alpha-isomethyl ionone and coumarin.
Further down are lavender oil, vanillin, beta-caryophyllene and trimethylcyclopentenyl methylisopentenol, another synthetic wood. Rose ketones, citronellol, citral, camphor and geraniol close the list.
