Bvlgari Man in Black is the eau de parfum Bulgari launched in 2014, for its 130th anniversary, as the third chapter of the Bvlgari Man line. Alberto Morillas slips tuberose into a masculine oriental: rum and spices at the top, tuberose, iris and a leather accord, a base of benzoin, tonka bean and guaiac wood, in a black bottle with copper lettering.
A rectangular bottle with rounded corners, glossy black at the top and matte at the bottom, underlined by a rose gold band.
Bvlgari Man in Black comes in a rectangular bottle with rounded corners, in dark glass. According to Parfumdreams, the glossy black top and the matte bottom, with the texture of volcanic rock, are separated by a thin rose gold band; the lettering and the spray pump pick up this metallic tone.
At launch, Luxurious Magazine already spoke of a gleaming ebony bottle. Today the house evokes lava stone polished by fire, lines inspired by Roman architecture and a refillable bottle whose removable cap reveals an aluminum plate engraved with the logo.
