Bois d'Amande Collection Extraordinaire

Bois d’Amande joined Van Cleef & Arpels’ Collection Extraordinaire in 2020, the line the house has devoted to precious woods since 2009. Sidonie Lancesseur composed it as a woody amber eau de parfum built around Virginia cedar, softened by almond and extended by musk and vanilla. The perfumer says she had almond trees under the Italian sun in mind.

The bottle shared by the Collection Extraordinaire: a deep black cap, the formula number on the label, a monogram at the base of the glass.

Bois d’Amande uses the bottle shared by the Collection Extraordinaire. The house describes it through three signs: a dense, intensely black cap, a delicate label bearing the number of the formula chosen by the perfumer, and a glass base decorated with the Van Cleef & Arpels monogram in relief.

The design aims for a pure, slender form, in the spirit of understated elegance the house gives the whole collection. Bois d’Amande is sold as a 75 ml eau de parfum, and the house’s page offers to engrave the bottle on two lines.
