Guerlain puts red rose in the spotlight

For this new perfume, the house Guerlain decided to spotlight one of the most famous flowers in perfumery: rose. Beloved by women since the dawn of time, it loses none of its splendor, provided it is worked with modernity. Here, Guerlain chooses to use a red rose, the ultimate symbol of passion and intense love. Moreover, the rose is surrounded by other ingredients, placed in the background and ideally used to enhance it. At first, Guerlain opts for a fruity rose, combined with mandarin, pear and blackcurrant. Then, the rose is illuminated by jasmine and peach. Gaining in charisma at its base, it wraps itself in sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla. Of course, as with all Guerlain perfumes, all these raw materials come from the best varieties in the world. Undeniably, this juice displays an exquisite balance and belongs to fine perfumery.

A heritage bottle now known to all

As for the bottle, Guerlain chooses restraint. The house revisits its glass bottle only very slightly. It must be said that it seems to have simply resurfaced from an ancestral Guerlain grimoire, all while displaying an exceptional timelessness. Born for the very first time in 1908, it has been revisited while preserving a few details devised in collaboration with the house Baccarat. Notably, its famous four-lobed cap remains. Its finely carved ring, meanwhile, is tinted pink, as if echoing its main raw material. The Guerlain name, finally, appears in relief on its base.

An advertisement filmed in Cambodia

As for advertising, Guerlain remains faithful to its prestigious ambassador. Once again, the face of actress Angelina Jolie appears on screens. Filmed in Cambodia, this campaign immerses viewers in her intimacy. Indeed, it is there that the actress adopted some of her children. Deeply attached to this country, she takes us into the heart of a lush forest. Letting her tattooed, undressed body show through white sheets, the actress welcomes us upon waking, on a beautiful sunny day, while a tropical rain nonetheless refreshes nature. Vegetation reclaims its rights. Scents burst into the air. Rose petals release the best of themselves...
