Maurice Roucel's career began in 1973. It was in that year that he joined Chanel as a chemist. Then, Maurice Roucel joined Symrise in 1996, a German company with a colossal reputation working in the same industry. After spending many years in New York, he then returned to Paris. His work has been highlighted many times by his peers. Furthermore, Maurice Roucel is considered a pioneer of magnolia in women's perfumes. His boldness and expertise earned him numerous distinctions in the perfume industry.
