The latest installment in the Si perfume line: Armani Si Passione. Although not decades old, Armani's Si already stands as a great classic of women's perfumery. Created in 2013, it immediately made a splash and many saw in it the birth of a new olfactory legend.
Armani and its founder Giorgio Armani never stop paying tribute to woman, or rather to THE Woman. With Si, an ode to woman and her many facets, Armani has given this woman he loves so much a juice as delicate as it is powerful, as gourmand as it is passionate. First composed by Christine Nagel, the story of Si has continued thanks to the young and sparkling Julie Massé, who has managed to perfectly capture the many facets of woman in magnificent variations. Si Passione, the new installment in the line, cannot fail to draw our attention…
Si Passione, Giorgio Armani's woman and her grandiose loves
Si alla vita, si alle emozione, si alla legerezza… These words whispered by Cate Blanchett resonate within us like an ultimate act of freedom, like a necessary claim to independence, evoked with delicacy and contrast in Catherine Nagel's composition for Si, the very first installment of the line launched in 2013.
Yet the multi-talented perfumer gave way to Julie Massé, a young, sparkling and joyful creator, to head toward more Hermès-like horizons. No matter! Julie Massé would go on to compose magnificent bottles for Si, honoring each facet that Catherine Nagel had previously sketched in outline, making them unique and unprecedented. For Si is a source of multiple inspirations, where each accord can give rise to new ones.
Thus the new installment released in 2018, Si Passione, falls, like its alter egos, directly in line with the original 2013 bottle, while exhaling new notes that beautifully complete the backbone of this ode to woman, turning it into an ode to love.
Red like passion. A symbol of energy, adrenaline, femininity, courage: a mix of intense emotions with a strong, recognizable character that represents the new fragrance of Giorgio Armani's Si family. Julie Massé for Si Passione by Giorgio Armani, Grazia.
Between intense freshness, delicate flowers and vanilla, Si Passione leads us into a world of absolute femininity
In order to give the Woman of Si Passione a juice as sparkling and striking as love at first sight, Julie Massé added to the original blackcurrant opening of Si some sharp, piquant accords that replace the floral accords. Pink pepper thus makes a notable entrance in this Si Passione, like a lightning strike to the heart.
She also added to the heart of Si Passione an extra touch of sensuality thanks to an enveloping and powerful heliotrope flower that contrasts with the floral luminosity of jasmine and rose.
Passion linked with a touch of adrenaline is expressed according to the canons of femininity; the main subject of this complex story captures the senses. That is why the heart of this fragrance (Si Passione) could not be floral like all the other previous creations. Julie Massé for Si Passione Giorgio Armani, Grazia.
Finally, for Si Passione, the lovely vanilla remains in the depths, but comes to marry a sharp, piquant cedarwood, once again highlighting the wild energy carried by the woman transcended by a new love.
