Zafferano is a unisex eau de parfum launched in 2022 by Acqua di Parma in the Signatures of the Sun collection. Belonging to the amber family, it places saffron — presented as the star ingredient — in contrast with the Italian citrus notes characteristic of the house. The house claims an inspiration in the technique of Venetian terrazzo, blending marble, Murano glass and gold, to evoke the richness and complexity of the composition.
Bergamot and coriander, both fresh, mingle with mandarin, sparkling and sun-kissed, in the top notes.
Sambac jasmine, intensely floral and creamy, blends in the heart with rose and saffron; these last two meet on the spice, warm in the rose, leathery in the saffron.
Vanilla, warm and sensual, tonka bean, toasted and almondy, and patchouli, earthy and damp, share the base of the perfume.
