Where to buy

Coty Prestige launched Princess in 2006 under the Vera Wang name: in the United States at the start of summer, and in the rest of the world in the fall. The Eau de Toilette is sold in 30, 50 and 100 ml, alongside a scented body lotion, body butter and body polish.

The house aims it at fashion-loving young women who want to reveal the princess within. It now describes a sheer fruity floral, rich in vanilla and brimming with exotic flowers and juicy fruits, for a modern princess who rewrites the royal rules.

A line of princesses

Princess gave rise to a series of variations, including Flower Princess, Rock Princess and, in 2010, Glam Princess, the fourth fragrance in the line.

Camilla Belle, the face of Princess

In 2006, Coty Prestige chose actress Camilla Belle, then 19, to embody Princess; she remained its face until 2008.

In 2006, Coty Prestige announced that actress Camilla Belle, then 19 and known for The Ballad of Jack and Rose, would be the face of Princess. The house said it chose her for her ability to capture the spirit of the modern young woman; the campaign photographs were taken in Miami.

Vera Wang praised her modern sophistication, her highly personal style and an inner strength carried with charm. An online game and behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot accompanied the campaign, and Camilla Belle lent her face to Princess until 2008.
