Water lily

The water lily is an aquatic plant of the Nymphaeaceae family. The water lily boasts large round leaves that float with ease and voluptuousness, as well as large, generally white flowers. The water lily grows on the surface of calm waters (ponds or pools) in warm countries. While it is cultivated for its ornamental appeal, the water lily is a plant that helps maintain the balance of a pool, bringing oxygen to the water and shade to the fish. The planting depth for water lilies ranges from 15 cm to 45 cm.

The water lily, a soft and sensual plant
