Yeonhwe (연회)

Yeonhwe (연회) is a unisex extrait de parfum from the Korean house The Eighth Room, added in 2026 to its range inspired by the Joseon court. It evokes the royal banquet by lantern light. Bergamot, green plum and black pepper open onto helvetolide and mandarin flower, with a base of pine nut, white musk and cetalox.

Top notes

Bergamot, green plum and black pepper open the accord. The citrus and the still-green fruit give a bright, tart opening, which black pepper lifts with a dry edge, like the flash of a toast raised during the celebration.

Heart notes

The heart combines helvetolide, a synthetic musk, with mandarin flower. The flower brings a white, luminous note, while helvetolide adds a musky, slightly fruity sweetness that steers Yeonhwe toward the musky family.

Base notes

The base brings together pine nut, white musk and cetalox. The pine nut gives a toasted, gourmand note, white musk a clean sweetness, and cetalox, a synthetic amber material, a woody warmth that closes the banquet.
