First

Van Cleef Arpels is a house that began its journey as a jeweler. This is no doubt what contributed to making each of its perfumes so crystalline. So First is no exception to the rule and comes across as a fragrance made of grace and modernity.

Magnolia, green and fresh, accompanies bergamot, fruity and sweet, in the top notes: the greenness of the former contrasts with the fruity sweetness of the latter.

Jasmine, warm and wild, occupies the heart with frangipani, vanilla-like and almondy; the warmth of jasmine meets the almondy sweetness of frangipani in this same register.

In the base, sandalwood, woody and velvety, sits alongside vanilla, spicy and sensual: the velvety quality of the wood harmonizes with the sensuality of the vanilla.
