Rare Beginnings is Rare Beauty’s second eau de parfum, from Selena Gomez’s brand, released in August 2026. This fruity floral opens on pear nectar and pistachio, with gardenia, jasmine and lotus blossom in the heart, over a base of vanilla, pink sugar and cedar, in a bottle designed for accessibility.

Rare Beginnings carries over the accessible approach of Rare Beauty’s fragrances. For the house, standard pumps and decorative caps can be difficult for people who lack dexterity. It therefore designed the bottle with certified hand therapists and packaging engineers.
A large pump presses down with the palm, four fingers or just one, and the cap unlocks with a twist. The fragrance comes in a 50 ml bottle and a 10 ml travel spray.
