Dolce & Gabbana places Q by Dolce & Gabbana Elixir among floral ambery fragrances. Cherry, the common thread of the line, becomes a dark nectar here, steeped in a warm, boozy accord that gives it a gourmand sweetness.

Cherry, night flowers and moss

The heady floral notes of queen of the night fill the heart, with sambac jasmine. The base rests on a velvety, earthy oakmoss that wraps the fragrance in warm depth; a Peru balsam accompanies it.

Where Q by Dolce & Gabbana Parfum paired candied cherry with Bourbon vanilla, the elixir moves the cherry toward white night flowers and moss.

The notes are arranged here as follows: cherry at the top; queen of the night in the heart; oakmoss in the base.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of an ambery woody molecule, benzyl salicylate, Virginia cedar oil and vanillin. Orange and lemon peel oils appear alongside linalool and hydroxycitronellal.

Peru balsam, cinnamon bark oil, eucalyptus oil and carvone appear toward the end. Two UV filters and two stabilizers protect the liquid, and no colorant is declared.
