Serge Lutens belongs entirely to this second category. In 2022, the house created two new fragrances and gave rise to an unprecedented collection: Matin Lutens. Water, a recurring theme at Serge Lutens
First of all, it should be noted that water is a symbol that seems to particularly inspire Serge Lutens. Indeed, Parole d’Eau is not his first evocation of this natural element. On several occasions throughout his career, Serge Lutens has already addressed this subject, with the firm desire to make us rediscover this element that many consider odorless… In 2009, Serge Lutens thus gave rise to l’Eau, from an eponymous collection. Moreover, with a touch of cynicism and self-mockery, he did not hesitate to describe his creation as the most expensive soap in the world. Later, he drew on this best-seller to also create l’Eau de Paille and l’Eau Froide, two perfumes from the Eaux de Politesse collection. Once again, Parole d’Eau by Serge Lutens invites us to rediscover a raw material that ranks among the most important, since it is simply essential to the functioning of the body. At a time when resources are dwindling, the message carried by this perfume is particularly compelling!
A formula composed essentially of natural ingredients
As is often the case, Serge Lutens favors the use of natural raw materials in his perfume. As such, he is fully rooted in current trends and in consumer expectations. As always, however, he far prefers to rely solely on a poetic image and a metaphor as an olfactory description. The formula of Parole d’Eau by Serge Lutens is therefore not spelled out in detail. A few elements have nonetheless leaked out, and we know in particular that Parole d’Eau by Serge Lutens is a kind of aromatic Cologne, built around Siberian pine needles, lemon zest and eucalyptus leaves. The result is a genuine walk through nature, at times soft or more invigorating, sometimes even fruity. Moreover, Parole d’Eau by Serge Lutens has excellent longevity. It is a perfume that unfolds an intense freshness on skin, throughout the day.

Made entirely of clear glass, the bottle of Parole d’Eau by Serge Lutens is simply decorated with a few beige elements. The result is a visual conveying elegance and naturalness. With it, everything is softness and calm, all while preserving a direct connection with nature.
