Obsession

Obsession is the feminine eau de parfum Calvin Klein launched in the spring of 1985, composed by Jean Guichard. The brand describes it as a spicy amber: mandarin, bergamot and vanillin, jasmine, orange blossom and spices, oakmoss, musk and amber. Pierre Dinand designed the bottle; its advertising played on provocation, and Kate Moss embodied it in 1993 in front of Mario Sorrenti’s camera.

Oval bottle by Pierre Dinand, inspired by a Native American prayer stone from Calvin Klein’s collection; eau de parfum in 30, 50 and 100 ml.

Pierre Dinand designed the Obsession bottle. Osmoz says it was inspired by an Indian prayer stone that Calvin Klein had acquired in the southwestern United States, part of his collection of objects; the house describes a massive, oval and sensual bottle, with a cap inspired by Native American prayer stones.

The eau de parfum sells today in 30, 50 and 100 ml. The original range also included, according to Osmoz, a parfum in a small format, a body cream and a body milk, a foaming gel and a deodorant.
