The sun-kissed breath of Néroli Amara

The new Néroli Amara by Van Cleef & Arpels draws inspiration from one of the most emblematic materials in perfumery: neroli. This ingredient is the name given to the essential oil obtained from the distillation of the orange blossom. It thus stands in contrast to orange blossom absolute, which is obtained through extraction. Here, neroli releases a floral and suave scent, fresh and delicately zesty. Composed by Quentin Bisch, this essence draws inspiration from a princess’s love for this flower. Naturally, neroli is here highlighted and enhanced by other ingredients. Bergamot, lemon and mandarin further accentuate its Mediterranean, citrus freshness. Black pepper, for its part, brings more nuance to this fragrance. It makes it warmer and more incandescent. Finally, Néroli Amara ends with a woody scent of cypress. All of this is presented in a 75 ml bottle, whose design is identical for every composition in the Collection Extraordinaire. Here again, everything is a matter of authenticity and balance. The bottle of Néroli Amara is entirely transparent and understated. It commands presence through the heavy weight of its glass.
