Dot, a women’s eau de parfum launched by Marc Jacobs in 2012, brings together red fruits, dragon fruit and honeysuckle at the top, jasmine, coconut water and orange blossom at the heart, and vanilla, driftwood and musk at the base. Annie Buzantian composed it, and the designer calls it the sister of Daisy and Lola. Its red bottle scattered with black polka dots recalls a ladybug.

Marc Jacobs spreads the notes of Dot over three tiers: red fruits, dragon fruit and honeysuckle at the top; jasmine, coconut water and orange blossom at the heart; vanilla, driftwood and musk at the base.

Red fruits, dragon fruit and honeysuckle

Red fruits and dragon fruit, a fruit with juicy flesh, open on a sweet, tart note. Honeysuckle, a flower with a honeyed scent, already adds a floral touch.

Jasmine, coconut water and orange blossom

Jasmine and orange blossom form a heart of white flowers, which coconut water makes milkier and fresher. The house calls this tier a lush floral, and the coconut note gives it its exotic turn.

Vanilla, driftwood and musk

Creamy vanilla rounds out the base, driftwood brings a light woody note, and the musks extend the whole with a sensual softness.
