REPLICA Autumn Vibes is a unisex eau de toilette by Maison Margiela, launched in June 2021 in the Replica collection and composed by Fanny Bal. The memory of an autumn forest in Montreal in 2018, this woody spicy brings together pink pepper, coriander and cardamom, a heart of carrot seeds, nutmeg and olibanum, and a base of cedar, moss and fir balsam.
Maison Margiela divides Autumn Vibes into three tiers: pink pepper CO2 essence, coriander essence and cardamom essence in the top; carrot seed essence, nutmeg essence and olibanum essence in the heart; cedar heart, a moss accord and fir balsam absolute in the base.
Cardamom, spicy, camphoraceous and slightly resinous, serves to evoke autumn leaves crunching underfoot. Virginia cedar is fractionally distilled for a creamier, rounder woody note; the moss accord, warm and earthy, recalls bark, undergrowth and the damp forest.
What the label declares
The list published by the house opens with alcohol, fragrance and water. It declares one UV filter, an antioxidant and regulated allergens, linalool, limonene, geraniol, citral and farnesol, as well as two colorants, red and violet.
