Magnolia Nobile comes after Iris Nobile and founds with it the Le Nobili collection of Acqua di Parma. Antoine Maisondieu treats a difficult flower there: three Italian citrus fruits open, the magnolia reigns with Bulgarian rose and two absolutes, sandalwood and patchouli close. A woody floral of 2009 that the house files on the side of discreet elegance.
Now Smell This finds the magnolia heart very pretty, but judges the opening too clean and the longevity shorter than that of Iris Nobile.

Robin files the opening among the green citrus scents that 2009 was serving everywhere, to the point of suggesting a well-made household cleaner, and wonders whether the IFRA restrictions on citrus oils are not partly responsible. The floral heart strikes her as very pretty, transparent, magnolia and jasmine to the fore, with an almost imperceptible rose and tuberose. She concludes on a fragrance too well-behaved for her, whose longevity seemed to her inferior to that of Iris Nobile.
