Les Gourmandises de Luna
Nina is a cult perfume from the house of Nina Ricci. It is characterized by a very feminine, romantic and modern universe. Nevertheless, as if to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its lovely heroine, Nina Ricci created, in 2016, a brand new vision of femininity named Luna.

From then on, these two fragrances were perceived as a kind of twins, each with its own distinct character. Yet it seems that they have since transformed into two versions that are even sweeter than before. The new Nina Ricci perfumes are now called Les Gourmandises de Nina and Les Gourmandises de Luna. How about discovering in more detail the blue-toned version of this new duo of fragrances?
Nina Ricci bets everything on gourmand character
Les Gourmandises de Luna is a very appetizing perfume. Yet its sweet character does not make it too childish or too girly a juice. Les Gourmandises de Luna is truly the perfume of a woman who owns herself and clearly plays on her seductive side. What is more, it is a fragrance that does not go unnoticed. It shares many similarities with Luna and notably borrows its caramel facet as well as its sandalwood facet. These two ingredients are present here in the sillage of this perfume and leave behind it a particularly gourmand and highly addictive quality. However, this is balanced by a sharp, fresh and fruity opening. Les Gourmandises de Luna takes off on a bitter breath of grapefruit accompanied by the juicy character of pear. Its femininity, in turn, comes through in its heart. Indeed, Les Gourmandises de Luna showcases one of the most famous raw materials in feminine perfumery: peony. This plant brings more elegance to this perfume. It is paired with coconut milk. Together, this blend creates a creamy feeling that calls for a caress. Les Gourmandises de Luna is a perfume that is comforting, tender and alluring all at once.
The new visual for Les Gourmandises de Luna
Nevertheless, a perfume, however good it may be, would be nothing without a bottle worthy of its composition. As always, Les Gourmandises de Luna comes nestled in Nina Ricci's iconic apple-shaped case. It must be said that between the house and this forbidden fruit lies a long love story. Moreover, the apple first appeared at Nina Ricci in 1952 with the perfume Fille d'Eve. Its bottle had been designed by the house of Lalique. Thus, Les Gourmandises de Luna presents itself as a kind of modern reinterpretation of this vessel. Entirely tinted blue, Les Gourmandises de Luna gives off an impression of purity and serenity. A multitude of small colored beads decorate the top of its apple. Likewise, a turquoise leather lacing embellishes its neck. Finally, the whole is topped with a stem and silvery leaves in place of a spray cap. The visual for Les Gourmandises de Luna seems to come straight out of a fairy tale.
