Asad is an eau de parfum for men from Lattafa, which the house classes among amber fragrances. Black pepper, tobacco and pineapple open onto a heart of patchouli, coffee and iris, resting on a base of vanilla, amber, dry woods, benzoin and labdanum. Its name, “lion” in Arabic, now designates a whole line.
The house publishes a three-tier pyramid: black pepper, tobacco and pineapple at the top; patchouli, coffee and iris at the heart; vanilla, amber, dry woods, benzoin and labdanum at the base.
It describes a lively opening where black pepper meets juicy pineapple and tobacco. Aromatic coffee, powdery iris and earthy patchouli give depth to the heart, and the base of amber, vanilla, dry woods, benzoin and labdanum ends in a resinous, smoky warmth.
