Asad Bourbon

Asad Bourbon is an eau de parfum for men from Lattafa, one of the four versions in the Asad line. Pink pepper, lavender and mirabelle plum open onto a heart of cacao, davana and nutmeg, over a base of vetiver, Bourbon vanilla and amber that the house describes as a rich, refined warmth.

The house publishes a three-tier pyramid: pink pepper, lavender and mirabelle plum at the top; cacao, davana and nutmeg at the heart; vetiver, Bourbon vanilla and amber at the base.

A spicy, fruity opening

Pink pepper brings a lively spice with rosy glints, lavender an aromatic freshness, mirabelle plum a sweet, juicy yellow fruit. The house sees in this trio a bright, modern spark that melts into a more gourmand heart.

A cacao heart

Cacao gives the heart tier a dark, powdery gourmand quality. Davana, an aromatic plant of the wormwood genus, adds a fruity facet with hints of apricot and liqueur, and nutmeg a spicy warmth.

A base of vanilla and wood

Bourbon vanilla, the name given to Indian Ocean vanilla after the former name of Réunion Island, brings a creamy sweetness. Amber warms it, and vetiver, a root with earthy, smoky accents, draws it toward dry wood.

What the label declares

The label printed on the back of the gift set declares, after alcohol, fragrance and water, thirteen components: limonene, coumarin, hydroxycitronellal, alpha-isomethyl ionone, citronellol, linalool, citral, isoeugenol, geraniol, methyl 2-octynoate, benzyl benzoate, cinnamal and eugenol.
