Kimitsu for Her

The Annayake house has built up considerable prestige over the decades in the field of cosmetic care. It is a brand renowned for its use of natural, top-quality raw materials. This is precisely what is found in Annayake fragrances. Fans of the house will therefore be delighted to discover the new feminine, floral and oriental juice from the house named Kimitsu For Her.

Kimitsu For Her, the new fragrance from the Japanese house Annayake

The Annayake brand is above all famous for its Japanese cosmetics. Nevertheless, since 2000 it has also accustomed us to numerous fragrance creations. Thus, every year, the house presents a scented duo pairing a men's fragrance with a women's essence. The year 2016 was no exception to this rule. While Annayake recently gave us the Niji pair, two new fragrances are set to appear very soon. On the women's side, it is called Kimitsu For Her, and Kimitsu For Him for men.

The contrasting scent of the new Kimitsu For Her

As always, Kimitsu For Her is a juice deeply inspired by Japanese tradition. However, it is here particularly contrasted while retaining an absolutely exquisite harmony and fullness. Its scent opens with a fresh, impertinent blend. Bergamot brings a genuine burst of freshness, at once gentle and marked, sparkling and floral. It is paired with the spicy, rising flavor of pepper. Then a true emblem of feminine perfumery makes its appearance. Rose takes center stage and unfolds all its elegance and romanticism here. It is accompanied by tuberose absolute, a plant known for its heady opening but also for gradually developing a warmer, more honeyed note. Then a juicier, tangier heart follows this opening flourish. It is steeped in red fruits while retaining the impertinence of pink pepper. Orange blossom absolute has also been added to the recipe of Kimitsu For Her. This makes the juice more sun-kissed than ever, at once floral, powdery and slightly sweet. It nonetheless closes with greater depth. Amber lends it balsamic tones while patchouli brings more power and complexity. Finally, musk crowns the whole with a highly sensual animalic quality, accompanied by the exotic warmth of vanilla.

The new look of the Annayake fragrance

On the aesthetic side, the Annayake house called on a proven expert in bottle design. Indeed, the bottle for Kimitsu For Her respects the house's traditional aesthetic and was designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, who has been designing perfume bottles for over 20 years. In this capacity, he founded his design agency named Aesthete in the early 1980s. With resounding success from its launch, he has since collaborated with the greatest luxury houses such as Cartier, Guerlain, Dior, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Givenchy, Kenzo and Balmain. In total, he is behind more than 6,000 creations. He is thus one of the rare figures born in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, who deals not with what happens inside the perfume but around it. For this occasion, he created a case directly inspired by a Japanese inkwell used in the traditional art of calligraphy, which is very present in that country. It is designed in black and white tones. Only dark horizontal lines disrupt the clarity of the whole, tracing a perfect circle on its front face in which the name of this new fragrance is inscribed.
