Boss Bottled Beyond for Her

Hugo Boss describes the meeting of two accords: a blooming peony, whose most radiant facets the house aims to capture, and a sweet maple syrup, enriched with sensual amber facets. In its French presentation, the brand also mentions woody facets.

Peony and maple syrup

The notes are arranged here as follows: peony in the top notes; maple syrup and amber in the base. The house describes a peony accord that opens from the very first notes before melting into the maple syrup and its amber facets.

No other note is announced. The house presents both the peony and the maple syrup as accords, blends of materials composed by the perfumers to evoke the flower and the gourmand sweetness.

The house declares a formula of 80% denatured alcohol to 20% fragrance, the same proportion as the line’s men’s eau de toilette intense.

What the label declares

The list opens with alcohol, fragrance and water, ahead of ethylhexyl salicylate, a UV filter, and tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a synthetic woody and amber molecule. Benzyl salicylate, vanillin and linalool come right after.

It also lists bergamot, bitter orange peel and lemon oils, hydroxycitronellal, hexyl cinnamal, alpha-isomethyl ionone and coumarin, which smells of tonka bean.

The formula also contains a second UV filter, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a stabilizer, a chelating agent and four colorants, two reds, a yellow and a violet; the house describes a peach-pink juice.
