Hinoki

Hinoki is part of the Mezzanotte collection by Bottega Veneta, which follows The Venice Collection launched in October 2024. The fragrance was first presented exclusively in pop-up spaces at Harrods and at the Dubai Mall, before its distribution widened in October 2025. Distribution is handled by Kering Beauté. The concentration has not been disclosed, and the perfumer behind the composition is not mentioned.

The composition rests on three raw materials with resinous and woody registers. In the top notes, fir balsam, a North American conifer, brings a clear, slightly sweet resinous profile. The heart is occupied by hinoki wood, a Japanese cypress belonging to the Cupressaceae family, whose wood is traditionally used in the construction of temples; its olfactory profile is woody and balsamic, with characteristic aromatic accents. The patchouli base, earthy and deep, anchors the whole in a dense and contrasted woody register.
