Devotion

On its campaign page, the house sums up Devotion in three accords, candied citrus, orange blossom and vanilla, under the banner of bright gourmand notes. Olivier Cresp describes the same structure: candied lemon at the top, orange blossom in the heart, vanilla at the base.

Top

Candied lemon opens the composition. Incenza specifies that it is Sicilian lemon peel, which, together with orange blossom, recalls the candied fruit of panettone, without making the whole too sweet, according to the perfumer.

Heart

Orange blossom lights up the heart, backed by rum essence, which according to Incenza brings richness. Several retail descriptions add a creamy panna cotta accord, which the house does not name.

Base

Madagascar vanilla holds the base and, according to Incenza, gives the impression of creamy, almost edible notes. The magazine sees in this panettone, usually associated with winter and Christmas, the scent of an Indian summer.

What the label declares

On the house’s page, the ingredients begin with alcohol, fragrance and water, followed by dipropylene glycol; there are two UV filters, including avobenzone, two stabilizers and five colorants: one yellow, two reds, one violet and one blue.

The declared allergens are limonene, linalool, citral, geraniol, citronellol, benzyl alcohol and benzyl benzoate. The house notes that the list changes and refers to the one on the packaging.
