Crystal Noir

Crystal Noir is the feminine eau de toilette Antoine Lie composed in 2004 for Versace, before Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond. Floral oriental for the house: blackcurrant, black fig and violet in the top notes, tuberose, frangipani and jasmine in the heart, sandalwood, cashmeran, vanilla and heliotropin in the base. Elena Vosnaki sees it as the perfect all-purpose scent, twenty years on. Jewel bottle in garnet glass with a diamond-cut cap.

Jewel bottle in garnet glass with diamond-cut facets, heavy cap cut like crystal; 30, 50 and 90 ml.

Versace describes a jewel bottle inspired by the facets of a diamond, made of garnet glass, sober and sumptuous; its retailers specify a cap shaped like a polished diamond, cut like crystal to reflect light, on a bottle as dark and mysterious as the fragrance. The eau de toilette is sold in 30, 50 and 90 ml.

Vosnaki notes a cap that seems to require Herculean strength to lift, a presentation which, in her view, contributes to the fragrance’s success as much as the mystery of the purple and black.
