Pasha Edition Noire by Cartier is a unisex composition that opens on mint and chili pepper, unveils heliotrope, violet and green note, then settles into a base of cedar, iris, amber and clove.
Mint, fresh and mentholated, and chili pepper, spicy and peppery, occupy the top. The mentholated freshness of one meets the spicy vivacity of the other.
Heliotrope, vanillic and balsamic, violet, powdery and green, and green note, herbaceous and fresh, are found at the heart. The greenness brings the violet close to the green note; the heliotrope keeps its balsamic quality apart.
Cedar, woody and evoking pencil shavings, amber, camphorous and animalic, and iris, buttery and violet-toned, are found at the base. The violet facet of the iris echoes the wood of the cedar; the amber asserts a more animalic turn.
