Bottega Veneta is an Italian house. As such, it very frequently pays tribute to its origins in each of its creations. The fragrance Pour Homme Essence Aromatique was no exception.
Rosemary, bergamot and lemon occupy the top on different registers: the aromatic notes and thyme of rosemary on one side, the tangy freshness of lemon and the sweetness of bergamot on the other.
Camphorous lavender and geranium occupy the heart, where the rosy sweetness of geranium contrasts with the freshness of lavender.
Oakmoss, earthy and damp, patchouli, earthy and close to a wine cork, and vetiver, woody and smoky, come together in the base; the damp earth of the oakmoss meets that of the patchouli, while the vetiver carries the woody register.
