TriBeCa

TriBeCa was released by Bond No. 9 in 2020, in Eau de Parfum, composed by Michel Almairac. The house presents it as an evocation of the New York neighborhood of TriBeCa, whose name it takes. The fragrance is offered in 3, 5, 8, 10, 50 and 100 ml.

Top

Cocoa opens TriBeCa on a bitter chocolate, with balsamic accents. Hazelnut answers it with a woody sweetness crossed by a touch of greenness. These two notes return in the heart tier, where they accompany the flowers and woods.

Heart

Cedar brings a resinous wood evoking pencil shavings. Jasmine has a sweet, wild warmth, sambac jasmine an intense, creamy, slightly fruity floral quality. Cocoa and hazelnut reappear here. Ambroxan adds amber wood and an animalic note, moss adds earth and undergrowth, caramel its burnt sugar, vanilla-like, milky sweetness.

Gourmand family

The gourmand family draws on the register of desserts and confections: cocoa, hazelnut and caramel carry it here. Around these notes, cedar, ambroxan and moss draw a woody, earthy base, which jasmine and sambac jasmine tint with flowers.

What the label declares

Among the declared components are limonene, a common constituent of citrus essences, citral, with the lemony scent of verbena or citronella, cinnamal, the main molecule of cinnamon essence, and linalool, present in numerous flowers including jasmine. BHT is an antioxidant; two other components are UV filters.
