It was in 1990 that the very first perfume Cerruti 1881 was created, echoing a pivotal date in the history of the Cerruti house, that of the creation of this family business, in the Italian Piedmont. It took 109 years for this blessed day to transform into an exceptional fragrance. However, since that moment, the public has never tired of rediscovering its scent. While Cerruti 1881 Essentiel relies on freshness, it should be noted that it is nonetheless a perfume with a strong character. For this, it rests on numerous olfactory contrasts. Cerruti 1881 Essentiel first opens on the clarity of citrus, and more specifically citrus, mandarin, grapefruit and bergamot. Then, this vivacity is quickly counterbalanced by the glow of pink pepper. Mugwort and basil give it a more aromatic aspect. Finally, it ends with the woody sophistication of cedar, vetiver and oakmoss. The whole is akin to a journey through the heart of Tuscany. The return of Cerruti's iconic bottle

Cerruti 1881 Essentiel comes in a bottle strongly inspired by its predecessors. This transparent glass cube has beveled edges that reflect light. As a result, its gray color gives off an intense luminosity and offers us the promise of a new freshness. The number 1881 is engraved in its glass and can be glimpsed through transparency. This bottle has been revisited but appears as a symbol of a return to the roots. The whole nonetheless has a very contemporary look, notably topped with a metallic gray cabochon.
