Annick Menardo

Grasse is a city located on the Côte d'Azur and is endowed with a unique heritage. Its entire activity buzzes around perfume, and more than 10% of the local population is employed in this industry. Moreover, the city has seen the birth of many renowned perfumers. Among the most famous of them, Grasse can boast having welcomed Annick Ménardo, a talented creator born just 20 km away, in Cannes.

Annick Ménardo's journey

Annick Ménardo was born in Cannes and thus very quickly immersed herself in the world of perfumery. Indeed, this region of France is filled with numerous flower fields and combines plant and mineral scents with those of the sea spray. Fascinated by scents from an early age, Annick Ménardo directed her education toward this field. She first began studies in chemistry before joining the prestigious Isipca, l'Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique alimentaire. This institution is located in Versailles in the Yvelines and can boast having trained a very large number of renowned perfumers. Alongside her studies, Annick Ménardo trained at Créations Aromatiques, now Symrise. There, she had the good fortune to benefit from the guidance and mentorship of one of the masters of perfumery, the talented Michel Almairac. He served as her mentor and allowed her to acquire the most solid foundations possible. Once she had earned her diploma, Annick Ménardo soon joined Firmenich, a true giant of the perfume world, where she has since created a great many successes.

Annick Ménardo's style is highly contemporary and forward-thinking. Indeed, she is above all passionate about art in general and is recognized for her work with the sculptor Nobi Shioya. Annick Ménardo thus seems to bring great success to the largest fragrance houses. We owe her notably Rouge de Lacoste, Jaïpur Homme by Boucheron, Fuel for Life by Diesel, Bois d'Arménie by Guerlain, the first Lolita Lempicka fragrance as well as its masculine counterpart, Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss, Body Kouros by Yves Saint-Laurent, and also Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior.
