Alexandria II is a fragrance from Xerjoff’s Oud Stars collection, launched in 2012 and composed by Chris Maurice. The house draws its inspiration from ancient Arabian perfumery and from Alexandria, a crossroads of cultures: apple mingles with lavender and rosewood, over a heart of cedar, lily of the valley and Bulgarian rose, and a base of amber, sandalwood and Laotian oud.
A faceted bottle whose glass shifts from deep brown at the shoulders to light amber at the base, topped with a tall, pointed gold cap.
Alexandria II comes in the Oud Stars collection bottle: thick glass cut into vertical facets, its tint shifting from a deep, almost garnet brown at the shoulders to a light amber toward the base.
A tall gold cap, faceted and ending in a point, crowns the neck. A gold plaque stamped with the house monogram adorns the front, and a gold emblem marks the foot of the bottle, sold in 50 and 100 ml.
