Xerjoff

Gibeon

Gibeon is a unisex Eau de Parfum launched at the end of January 2026 by Xerjoff as part of the Shooting Stars collection, the first new release in this collection in several years. Named after a meteorite that fell in Namibia in prehistoric times and was documented by Western scientists in 1836, the fragrance develops a powdery, ethereal character built around a heart of Tuscan iris, an opening of neroli, and a base of Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean.

Where to buy

The Shooting Stars collection was born from a visit by Sergio Momo to the Natural History Museum in London, where he discovered the story of the Sikhote-Alin meteorite, which fell in eastern Siberia in 1947. Each perfume in the collection is named after a meteorite, and each set contains a certified meteorite fragment. Gibeon takes its name from a meteorite whose iron fragments scattered across the Kalahari Desert; worked for centuries by the Nama people into spearheads and tools, it was documented by Western scientists in 1836.

Olfactorily, the composition opens on the powdery sweetness of neroli, accompanied by a nuance of Ceylon cinnamon according to the official distribution. The heart is defined by Tuscan iris, whose velvety caress structures the entire fragrance. The base combines Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean with a clean musk and balsamic nuances of cedarwood, anchoring the ethereal lightness of the opening in a warm, enveloping base.
