Very Irrésistible

Very Irrésistible, the Eau de Parfum of an unforgettable encounter Hubert de Givenchy was only 17 when he moved to Paris to work in fashion. It was at 24 that he began his career as a designer.

It all began in 2003, with the creation of the feminine eau de toilette Very Irresistible by Givenchy. Faced with its immense success, the house decided to repeat the experience, adapting this feminine essence into an Eau de Parfum, described as more sensual. Presented in a new violet bottle, and brought to the screen by actress Liv Tyler, photographed by Mario Testino, this fragrance is an ode to femininity. It is imagined on a glamorous and seductive woman. On the scent side, it is born from the meeting of patchouli and rose essence. Here is our review of this fragrance.

Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum, the fragrance of an irresistible woman

The message conveyed by Givenchy is clear and appears as soon as the name of this fragrance is revealed: it is addressed to a woman who is simply irresistible. Moreover, it has multiple olfactory facets, quite simply because there are a thousand and one ways to be irresistible. A woman can be irresistible for her beauty, for her unrivaled sense of fashion, for her intelligence, for her warmth, for her presence. Whatever the reasons for the attraction she exudes, she is irresistible, and this is undeniable. Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum by Givenchy explores all these facets of femininity. It amplifies the charm of those who wear this fragrance. Far more than a simple fragrance, it is the symbol of a state of mind, a smile, or even love at first sight. Spontaneous and bold while being terribly sensual, Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum is a perfect testament to Hubert de Givenchy's devotion to women.

Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum, the meeting of rose and patchouli

Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum is a fragrance owed to three great names in perfumery. Indeed, to create its formula, the house of Givenchy called upon three different perfumers, namely Dominique Ropion, Sophie Labbé, and Carlos Bénaïm. Here, they combined their talents to reveal the full seductive potential of this fragrance. Givenchy's emblematic alliance of rose and patchouli is still present. However, this time it is enhanced by other ingredients. In this case, Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum is enriched with a cocktail of apple and pear, resting on a base of vanilla. Other ingredients placed in the background further twist the whole, such as anise, peony, or magnolia.

A slender bottle in a new violet color

Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum comes in a new, very elegant bottle. Its silhouette remains the same. Like a glass prism, it plays with light and surprises with its twist. Its edges and angles constantly shift depending on the movement. This time, the pink of its predecessor has disappeared in favor of a violet. Its name, meanwhile, appears in discreet lettering, while its chromed spray nozzle is covered with a transparent, airy, and light cap. In the image of the fragrance it contains and the woman it represents, the Very Irresistible Eau de Parfum bottle is anything but lacking in boldness.
