Created by Dominique Ropion for the 2013 Oriental Collection, Supreme Bouquet is a bouquet of tuberose, jasmine sambac and ylang-ylang, opened by bergamot, pink pepper and pear, set on patchouli, a woody amber accord and musks. Yves Saint Laurent now sells it under the name Gold, in Le Vestiaire des Parfums.

Yves Saint Laurent arranges Supreme Bouquet in three stages: bergamot, pink pepper and a pear accord at the top; jasmine sambac absolute, tuberose absolute and ylang-ylang essence in the middle; a patchouli essence, a woody amber accord and musks at the base.

Tuberose

The house makes tuberose the star of the perfume, the nighttime diva of the garden: solar, creamy, fruity, spicy, touched with a golden honeyed nectar. Ylang-ylang and jasmine sambac reinforce its roundness and fruity tones.

The amber accord

The base pairs patchouli with a woody amber accord and musks. In 2014, ParfumPlus described an armful of creamy flowers tamed by a woody, ambery trail.

What the label declares

The ingredient list has twenty entries. It names no fragrant material on its own: tuberose, jasmine and ylang-ylang remain inside the word parfum.

It shows one UV filter, a stabilizer and three colorants, two yellow and one violet, alongside the regulated allergens: benzyl salicylate, benzyl alcohol, limonene, alpha-isomethyl ionone, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, benzyl benzoate, citral, isoeugenol and farnesol, as well as a fragrant molecule, methyl anthranilate.
