Oud & Spice

Oud & Spice was launched in 2021 by Acqua di Parma in the Signatures of the Sun collection, signed by perfumer François Demachy. Classified in the woody spicy family, this unisex eau de parfum stands out for its ambition to reinterpret oud — a raw material traditionally associated with dark, dense compositions — in a sun-kissed and luminous register, true to the spirit of the collection.

The top combines bergamot, raspberry and rose, establishing an opening that is fresh, fruity and floral all at once, contrasting with the depth expected of oud. The heart develops a spicy accord of cinnamon, pink pepper and clove, introducing warmth and vibrancy. The base is dominated by Laotian oud — agarwood —, accompanied by patchouli and labdanum cistus, forming a resinous, woody foundation.

Within the Signatures of the Sun collection, Oud & Spice occupies the position of the most assertive woody spicy fragrance, while retaining the line’s luminous, Italian signature thanks to its bergamot-forward, fruity opening.
