Olympéa Blossom

Olympéa Blossom: The new floral Eau de Parfum by Paco Rabanne It was in 1965 that Paco Rabanne decided to venture into the world of haute couture, after training as an architect. Endowed with a highly visionary spirit, he did not hesitate to repurpose surprising materials to craft unexpected garments.

Ever since he left architecture to become a couturier and then a perfumer, Paco Rabanne has been synonymous with audacity, creativity and modernity. His greatest passion? Depicting for us the vision of a woman perfectly anchored in her era, unafraid to wear a sensual style that defies norms. With him, art fuses perfectly with couture and fragrances. Paco Rabanne loves to surprise, and this is felt in all his works. This is how the Olympéa fragrance was conceived, in 2015. After several reinterpretations, it transforms once again and becomes Olympéa Blossom. So, how is it so different? Here is our review.

Olfastory’s review

Olympéa Blossom, a floral and spicy composition that does not go unnoticed

Olympéa Blossom is an explosion of flavors, resting on an icy, spicy bite, like an incandescent shiver running through women’s bodies. At first, it explores the feminine register in a generous bouquet of roses, the undisputed star of feminine perfumery. However, this rose is far from tame. Here, it reveals itself instead through its sharp thorns, accompanied notably by a very spicy and stimulating pink pepper, joined by a much more refreshing blackcurrant sorbet. This contrast surprises and seduces, before being carried forward by a fruitier pear heart. Little by little, Olympéa Blossom becomes more suave and warm. Its sensuality intensifies in a base of salty vanilla wrapped in cashmere. Patchouli, for its part, increases its persistence on the skin, while unfurling along the way a musky fragrance trail.

Paco Rabanne slightly reinvents its bottle

On the bottle side, Olympéa Blossom is not entirely different from its predecessors. Thus, to mark its belonging to the great Olympéa family, it preserves its original shape. It still adopts a highly mythological look, drawing a perfect circle surrounded by a crown. Its pink hue echoes its femininity, while several golden elements now appear on its architecture. With its golden laurels, its shimmering name and its dazzling cap, Olympéa Blossom fits into an even more luxurious and divine register than before. Likewise, on the novelty side, small black flowers are drawn on its walls, echoing its highly floral character.

Olympéa Blossom, the fragrance of a strong and fulfilled woman

Because a fragrance is chosen according to one’s personality, Olympéa Blossom is intended for a strong, powerful and charismatic woman. This juice does not go unnoticed and introduces a new chapter in the story of Olympéa. She who wears this fragrance appears to everyone as a diva, a kind of goddess of modern times. Like Cleopatra once did, she is the one everyone notices and toward whom every gaze turns. Olympéa Blossom lets a wind of freedom and power blow through feminine perfumery. Its precious character takes nothing away from its impertinence and its longing for freedom. The Olympéa Blossom woman writes her own story and takes us with her into a new divine garden. The magic works instantly!
