Pineapple, an exotic fruit with succulent flesh, opens Hacivat alongside grapefruit and bergamot. Created in 2017 by Jorge Lee for the house NISHANE, the composition links this fruity top to a heart of jasmine, patchouli and cedar, and to a base of earthy, damp oakmoss, in a chypre family construction.
The opening
Pineapple brings an exotic fruit, juicy and full of succulence. Grapefruit, a vivid citrus, adds a fruity freshness, while bergamot combines a touch of slightly sweet fruit with a fresh brightness. This opening is marked by fruit and citrus.
The heart
Jasmine offers a warm, sweet flower with a wild character. Patchouli, the leaf of an aromatic plant from Asia, develops an earthy, damp odor, heightened by a camphoraceous accent. Cedar brings its dry wood, evocative of pencil shavings, with a resinous nuance.
The base
Oakmoss, a lichen that grows on the bark of the tree, carries earthy, damp, almost musty tonalities, recalling the forest floor after rain. This raw material ranks among the historic pillars of perfumery, sought after for its dark, vegetal depth.
A chypre structure
The chypre family classically rests on the alliance of bright citrus and mossy, earthy raw materials. Here, fresh bergamot answers oakmoss and patchouli, which trace its framework, while pineapple and grapefruit color this accord with a fruity facet.
