Ani

Before Ani X, which NISHANE released in 2023, there is Ani, an extrait de parfum launched by the house in 2019 and composed by Cécile Zarokian. Part of the oriental family, Ani opens on ginger, bergamot and pepper. Its heart brings together cardamom, blackcurrant and rose, and its base blends vanilla, benzoin, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli, ambergris and musk.

NISHANE presents Ani in 2019, in the form of an extrait de parfum. The formula bears the signature of perfumer Cécile Zarokian. The name, brief and unadorned, refers to a specific place rather than to a material or an emotion.

This place is an archaeological site. Ani designates an ancient city of which ruins remain, and these ruins are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The house thus drew its title from geography and history, linking the composition to a vanished city.

In 2023, NISHANE gives the composition a sequel with Ani X, which takes up the original name while adding a letter. Ani comes in three sizes: 2 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml.
